 Worth the price for the kitDec 27, 2010

Unfortunately, I didn't see this option originally, and got separate pieces to connect my portable headphone amp to my iPod/iPhone. This is the full kit, including a really nice adapter to run/charge the amp when you don't have your laptop available. Seems to charge the unit quite a bit quicker than off USB, also.
If you're going to pick up a portable headphone amp kit to use with an iPod or iPhone, you'll definitely want to get this kit also.
I bought one even though I already had the adapter, since I have multiple iApple devices anyway, so I can keep one at my desk, and have the other one to carry around.

I bought this for the line out adapter because this really improves sound quality from the iPod if you are listening with good equipment. The headphone out of the iPod is very noisy.
The only issue with this kit is, you have to buy all the other stuff which you don't need, like USB cable, 3.5mm audio cable, USB charger. That's a little waste of money, so I give it only 4 stars.
