I bought this cable to connect my ipod to my Boston Acoustics Recepter Radio (for those unfamiliar, this is a now discontinued alarm clock radio with great sound). The build quality on this is great, and I feel the sound is better than what I'd gotten from the cable included with the Recepter.
That being said, this cable is very short (0.2 meters on me is about the distance between my middle fingertip and the base of my wrist) so it's best suited to attach a headphone amp to an ipod.

This interconnect is a great value. Good for use with a portable player or bass boost, like the excellent DigiZoid. I tried the FiiO version a few weeks ago and was surprised at the degradation in sound quality. No degradation with the NuForce though. NuForce makes a number of good quality, good value consumer products and this interconnect is in that tradition.
The plugs are solid as is the connection with the wire. The wire is very flexible as well as red. The strain reliefs seems to get the job done. The length is just right for most portable uses.
I do with they made a version with right angle connectors though.

Well packaged.
I'm very impressed with Nuforce products overall. So far I've bought a couple of cables, an iPod adapter and the desktop-model headphone adapter. Great stuff, I just wish I could buy it locally.
Anyway, if you want a well-made mini-audio cable to connect analog line-out from a portable device to any line-in, in order to bypass the poor-quality built-in amp on the portable device, this is a great cable.
